Fall work on stock market data analysis and portfolios

Posted by esuess on October 26, 2009

This Fall Quarter I hope to finish developing some R programs that download stock market data for a number of portfolios and graphs them with some technical analysis and beyond.  I have been working on how to automate the downloading of data, the running of the R program(s), and the posting of the output to my website.

My long term goal is to do a similar try of analysis for pollution data.

I have been working on the development of some summer projects.

The first one about Data Examples looks very interesting.  I have tested REvolutions today.  This is a validated version of R.  It runs very fast.
